A cleaner home-buying experience
When designing a new web-presence for Bardwell Homes, we wanted to approach it with a user-first mentality, putting key information in easily accessible places and organizing the site in a way that is intuitive.
The first thing was to give the user a clear call-to-action on the home page by providing an option to sort homes by Home Type or Community.
The second thing we wanted to do was to keep images at the fore front without making it impossible to find the information you need.
You'll notice in the mockups below that the featured homes are designed in a card system to create a full-screen viewing experience on mobile while differentiation from other home builder websites. On hover, the cards reveal several key pieces of information such as price, square footage and bed/bath.
