Let me preface by saying, this doesn't have to be a Christian-specific thing. If you believe that generosity is good and helping others is a foundational principle in your life, then this idea might interest you.
I'm not going to explain the series of decisions, beliefs, convictions, and desires that led to this idea but I will list a few bullets of the general ideas that moved the needle for me in case you're interested:
So the reverse tithing idea is the idea of giving away 90% and living off 10%. Now obviously, jumping from tithing 10% and living off 90% would be a radical change. So I'm gonna borrow another idea from my friend Micah and his wife Sarah: increase your giving by 1% each year. That should help the transition.
